Pendine was the ‘plaice’ to meet former England cricket captain Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff last week.
He is currently travelling the length and breadth of Britain and Ireland in an eco-friendly chip van for the next series of his Sky 1 programme, Flintoff: Lord of the Fries.
Freddie has teamed up with extreme cyclist Rob Penn for the venture which sees him taking the nation’s favourite food to summer revellers throughout the land.
They called into Pendine last Tuesday where there was a warm welcome from visitors on the seafront and beach, despite the weather - amongst them James Webb and his family, on holiday from Swindon.
