Pintsized Plays, one of the leading international competitions for short plays, kicks off at Fishguard’s Theatr Gwaun this evening (Saturday).

Now in their eighth year, the winning ten minute plays are performed in selected pubs in Pembrokeshire. The six winning entries and four runners up then go on to be performed at a riotous Script Slam at Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard. The audience then get to vote for their favourite script – and the winner will walk away with the coveted Pint-pot .

On top of that all ten plays will be considered for publication in the next volume of scripts (volume 4) and selected plays will be performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival in May 2016 Last year’s was described as “heaving – what a fantastic, memorable evening.” And this year is shaping up to be even better.

It kicks off at 7.30pm this evening, Saturday, October 3 at Theatr Gwaun.
