A fund-raising festive lighting display has its official switch-on tonight (Tuesday).

The seasonal spectacular at Sheila and Vic Norman’s bungalow in Kilgetty is now in its ninth year of spreading Christmas cheer - and collecting for the Paul Sartori Foundation.

Last year, the couple handed over £1,100 to the Pembrokeshire hospice-at-home charity and hope to beat that sum this year.

New lighting features, including a snowball mountain, have been added to the property’s 50-plus festive figures, the all-important Nativity scene, the illuminated conservatory and the photo-booth.

The honour of turning on this year’s lights has been given to 18-year-old Max Brewster of Tenby, who has been raising funds for the Paul Sartori Foundation in memory of his granddad, former Greenhill School teacher Alun Rees.

The switch-on at at 13 Kingsmoor Close, Kilgetty SA68 02Z takes place at 6pm tonight (Tuesday), when mince pies, mulled wine, sweets and orange juice will be served.
