A GEORGIAN gazebo tower perched on top of Pembroke's historic medieval town wall will feature on Channel 4 tonight (Thursday).
Retired businessman Bruce Woodall first started work on the tower 30 years ago, but changing planning laws have threatened to shut down his project for good.
For tonight's episode of Restoration Man, TV architect and property developer George Clarke attempts to explore this unique landmark's long history, and find out why the project has taken so long.
As George explores the site's secrets, its place in key chapters in English and Welsh history becomes clear.
Tucked into the town's medieval wall, the gazebo is thought to have been built in the mid to late 1700s, on top of the base of the original wall tower - which is considered a scheduled ancient monument.
Planning consent to develop the Grade II listed construction was originally granted in 1996, but could changes in the rules mean this is where Bruce's time in the tower comes to an end?
Restoration Man is on Channel 4 tonight (Thursday, January 21) at 9pm.
