VANDALISM of the local Conservative constituency office has been called 'disappointing' by a local MP.

The office of Stephen Crabb MP and AM Paul Davies on Upper Market Street, Haverfordwest was vandalised sometime between 6.00pm on March 11 and 2.15pm on March 12 as 'Y do u hate the sick' was spray painted onto the office facade.

Preseli Pembrokeshire MP, Stephen Crabb, said: “I’m disappointed that some individuals choose to vandalise my office instead of making an appointment to see me to discuss their concerns.

"Sadly all these individuals achieved on Saturday was to create an inconvenience to my office staff, local residents, and the police.

"There are lots of ways to communicate to convey concerns but criminal damage just isn’t an option."

The vandalism comes after the Conservative government controversially voted to cut the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) WRAG to new claimants.

By Sunday evening, the graffiti had been removed.

Dyed Powys Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the graffiti to contact Haverfordwest police station on 101.
