PUPILS from Pembroke Dock Community School have been displaying their stage skills recently in the school's annual competition Pembroke Dock's Got Talent.
The format, similar to the popular TV show, sees pupils auditioning in front of their peers to progress to the finals competition, and then performing in front of the whole school and all the staff.
The Foundation Phase competition saw 13 acts from classes in the Early Years to Year 2 performing.
Acts ranged from singing popular pop songs, to a hula-hooping masterclass, as well as a superb magic show.
The talent on show was at a very high level, and in particular, it was striking to see how the younger pupils showed no fear, despite performing in front of more than 700 people in the hall.
When voting took place, it was clear to see that it was going to be a very tight process, but the winner, who sang Tom Jones' classic Delilah was Caiden Jones, of Reception Class.
On Friday May 13, pupils from Key Stage 2 had the opportunity to display their talents and there were over 14 acts ranging from singing, comedy, dancing and magic.
The standard was again of a very high calibre and the performers were extremely confident in front of such of a large crowd.
Voting was even closer for this competition and there were four joint third places, but the winner, with her rendition of When you believe was Ruby Thomas of Year 4.
Her faultless performance, stunned the staff and pupils in the audience, with a powerful and beautiful voice.
Both pupils performed their songs again to the crowd and received their trophies from Head teacher Michelle Thomas.
