PREPARATIONS for Milford Fish Festival are stepping up a gear with only a few days to go until thousands of visitors flock to the two-day event.

Throughout Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, an exciting line-up of bands and live entertainment will be on the main stage including The Review, The Collective, Honey Fungus, The Blims and Rick Berry and the Retropex.

Children can hone their culinary skills at Healthaspire’s Children’s Cookery School, which will include making fish cakes and decorating their own chef hat.

The sessions are free, but places must be booked online in advance at www.milfordfishfestival.co.uk as they’re expected to fill up quickly.

Also on offer for the younger visitors will be on-water activities, fish themed crafts and pavement painting.

During the weekend, a wide range of stalls will be selling fresh fish and shellfish in the Fish Fantastic marquee and cookery demonstrations will be held by ‘The Great British Bake Off’ star Chetna Makan, award winning Saundersfoot chef Will Holland and Guy Morris.

To beat the queues and make the most of reduced rates, visit www.milfordfishfestival.co.uk to book and early bird ticket.

The Fish Festival is part of Pembrokeshire Fish Week, which runs from Saturday, June 25, until Sunday, July 3, co-ordinated by Pembrokeshire County Council.
