PEMBROKE Town Council recently welcomed a new member, representing Monkton.
At the August meeting of the town council, Adrian Cooke was co-opted as town councillor for the Monkton Ward.
Adrian being born and bred in Pembroke is a well-known resident working locally within the town.
Mayor of Pembroke, Cllr Dennis Evans welcomed Cllr Cooke and presented him with a town council tie and badge at a special meeting at the town hall, where he signed his declaration of office.
Cllr Cooke said: “I am delighted to be given this opportunity to serve as a local councillor and look forward to serving the community of Monkton.”
