St Davids students will star in a fascinating documentary next week, exploring the differences between Wales and South Korea in BBC One's School Swap.

In the programme three teenagers from Ysgol Dewi Sant spend three days totally immersed in school and teenage life in Seoul.

The boys, Tommy and Ewan, attend an all-boys' school reputed to be one of the best in the city, while Sarah goes to a nearby all-girl's school with strict rules on uniform and appearance.

In Monday's programme Tommy, Ewan and Sarah struggle to cope with the extended hours of the regular school lessons, followed by after-school study and private night classes that run until 10pm.

In the boys' school the class is presented with a sample of a GCSE maths paper, which many students finish in just 15 minutes.

Tuesday's episode features a surprise visit from Ysgol Dewi Sant head teacher David Haines. The Pembrokeshire youngsters also learn of the negative impact the education system can have, when a wannabe maths teacher talks about losing three of his friends to suicide.

Journalist Sian Griffiths also challenges the Welsh education minister about what lessons can be learnt from South Korean schools.

School Swap: Korea Style is on BBC One at 10.40pm on Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29.
