PEMBROKE Mayor Dennis Evans, his wife Rita, and family and friends of the late Richard Rose and committee members of Pembroke Civic Trust gathered on the town’s North Quay Walk to formally cut a ribbon and dedicate a seat in his name.
Richard compiled the fascinating book, entitled Pembroke People, which includes every person living in and around Pembroke and Pembroke Dock between the years of about 1790 and 1840.
Names and potted histories of each person are listed in alphabetic order, within professions or trades and is available from Rosalie Lilwall, 01646 686527 for £45.
