SANTA Claus came to town in shipshape style in Tenby on Saturday afternoon.
The Tenby lifeboat staged a mid-sea rendezvous with the great man, before he was driven in style, aboard the inshore lifeboat, into Tudor Square to be greeted by a crowd of over 300 people.
The mayor of Tenby, Councillor Laurence Blackhall, and the mayoress, Sam Skyrme, joined Father Christmas on the voyage, and they were greeted by a festive flurry of snow, courtesy of Tenby House Hotel, as they headed to the square.
Earlier in the afternoon, the scene was set with carols from Tenby Salvation Army band and the Tenby Friendship Group, with festive favourites played by DJ Steve Briers and a guest appearance by young guitarist and vocalist, Connor Murphy.
Santa then performed the Christmas tree switch-on before he and the mayor climbed aboard horse-drawn transport, provided by the Tenby Carriage Company, and made their way to the De Valence Pavilion.
A family fun night was then enjoyed, with youngsters able to meet Santa in his grotto.
