A MAJOR high street bank which pulled out of Tenby last year is now back in the resort with a mobile branch.

The closure of the resort's Tudor Square branch of Lloyds Bank last November was amongst 400 closures throughout the UK over a three-year period.

The Tenby mobile branch will visit three times a week and will be located at the Five Arches car park SA70 7HZ.

Opening hours will be 10am to 11.45am on Mondays and 10am to 11.15am on Wednesdays and Fridays.

A Lloyds Bank spokesperson said:"This new mobile branch will provide a vital service by giving customers access to everyday banking services such as making deposits, withdrawing cash and paying bills.

"Our mobile branch colleagues will also be on hand to help customers access online banking and answer any general account or product enquiries."

Personal and business customers will be able to make deposits of up to £5,000 and withdraw up to £300 cash daily (or £1,000 if pre-ordered 48 hours before).

The mobile branch will also include full disabled access, including a disabled lift allowing wheelchair access, and a hearing loop will be installed.
