A NEW branch of the UK’s oldest military charity – SSAFA – is holding a Big Brew Up on Monday (June 19).
The charity supports all three services, the Army, Navy and RAF, and Haverfordwest’s new group is being run by military personnel from 14 Signal Regiment (EW) at Brawdy and military wives.
The Big Brew Up is a national campaign to fundraise for the charity which supports veterans.
“We want to spread the word about our branch in particular to let veterans know that there is somewhere they can go to get help. This could be anything from a lift to a hospital appointment to counselling for PTSD. We support anyone who has ever served - even if they only served a day,” a spokesman said.
