YSGOL Wdig pupils have been excelling themselves in sporting, literary and humanitarian fields this month.
Year 5 pupil Dominic Sinnott recently received his Pembrokeshire Junior Rugby Association tie at an end of season presentation, having represented Pembrokeshire Schools this season. Dominic plays his club rugby for Fishguard & Goodwick RFC Under 10's.
Another Year 5 pupil, Dylan Stewart James recently won Fishguard and Goodwick Rotary Club's Young Writers Competition. An avid reader Dylan has a real interest in creative writing and the title of his piece was Reflection. As a district winner, he has now been invited to a formal presentation at the Senedd where the national winner will be named.
Year one pupil Daisy - May Lewis has recently cut off her long hair and donated it to the Little Princess charity (www.littleprincess.org).The decision to support this charity was Daisy- May's own idea and parents Mathew and Stacey were only too happy to support her thoughtful gesture.
