MORE than 50 adults, children and well-behaved dogs saw in the solstice with Fishguard and Goodwick RNLI's annual dawn walk.
Walkers young and old set off from Pwllgwaelod at 6am and were greeted with a fabulous sunrise over Dinas Head. They completed the walk in beautiful conditions and were rewarded by a well-earned breakfast in a bun, prepared by a team of committed volunteers, on their return.
The walk was a great success attracting plenty of local walkers, including a team of staff and users of Fishguard Leisure Centre, and holiday makers some from as far afield as America, Malawi and South Africa.
So far more than £600 been raised for Fishguard and Goodwick RNLI, with more still to come.
Fundraisers thanked all walkers and volunteers as well as Tesco Express, Goodwick, for providing the breakfasts.
