TWENTY school children, together with their teachers and carers, recently enjoyed an excellent day out at Folly Farm thanks to Pembroke Rotary Club.

The treat was organised by the club under the banner of the Kids Out Charity, which has been running since 1999.

For the third year running the children were blessed with excellent sunny weather. They were all presented with a 'kids out' cap and, due to the generosity of Browns Restaurant, Main Street, Pembroke, they enjoyed an exceptional and well-received packed lunch.

The event was organised by Rotarian Harold James, who would like to thank Edwards Coaches of Pembroke who provided free transport for the event, and Browns of Pembroke for providing the free packed lunch.
