YOUNGSTERS in Year 6 at Pembroke’s Golden Grove School recently celebrated the end of their time at the school, while also raising funds for hardship charity PATCH.

The youngsters had a leavers’ party, organised for them by some of the parents as a celebration of them leaving primary school, and moving on to the comp.

It was a great success and a load of fun was had by everyone. Bluestone provided burgers and pork rolls and party food and pop was bought with money raised for the event by parents.

When the children realised there was £85 left over after the party, they decided they wanted to give it to a charity and PATCH was the one they chose.

The money has been taken to PATCH, along with the unused crisps, pop and sweets from the event.
