FOUR men, with a mission to improve how youth suicide and mental health issues are dealt with, have started a 700-mile hitch hike around Wales.
Get The Boys A Lift will see the four lads make their way around the country, purely by thumbing lifts.
"The idea is simple," say the boys on their website.
"You don’t have to know somebody to give them a lift, which is why this August, four of the boys will be hitch-hiking close to 700 miles, in order to spark one big conversation about mental health.
They continued: "Our mission is to change the way youth suicide and mental health is foreseen, to provide people with the confidence to speak out openly, and understand that there is no shame in talking about your own mental and physical wellbeing.
"We aim to do this through spreading a positive message through clothing, public speaking events and through social media."
The money raised will be donated to PAPYRUS (Prevention of Youth Suicide) and MIND Pembrokeshire.
After setting off from Haverfordwest this morning, the boys will pass through 12 checkpoints:
St Davids
Aberystwyth
Caernarfon
Holyhead
Wrexham
Newtown
Abergavenny
Cardiff
Swansea
Carmarthen
St Clears
Pembroke Dock.
They aim to return to Haverfordwest on Saturday (August 12).
If you see them, don't forget to give them a lift!
