THE 2017 Goodwick and District Gardening Club's 39th annual show was, as always, a very enjoyable event for exhibitors, judges and visitors. Judges said the standard was good to excellent across all classes: fruit, vegetables, flowers, bakery, preserves, wine making, crafts and needlework
In the fruit, vegetable and flower classes the standard of exhibits was astonishing after one of the most bewildering growing seasons: heatwaves, cold snaps, mini-drought and torrential rain, it seemed nothing beat the gardeners who displayed great skill and knowledge.
