WITNESSES have come forward after police released CCTV images of them as part of an appeal into a sexual assault investigation.

Dyfed-Powys Police are continuing to investigate a report of sexual assault of a woman that happened at the Twisted Shamrock, Tenby at approximately 9.30pm on Saturday September 30.

The police appealed to anyone in the pub that visited the toilets between 9.30pm and 9.45pm to come forward, in an effort to identify potential witnesses.

A spokesperson for the police said: "As part of enquiries, we have obtained CCTV images from the premises in an effort to identify potential witnesses, and would like to speak to possible witnesses from those images.

"As they are potential witnesses they may have valuable information that could help us in our investigation.

"It appears there may have been a party group in the pub at the time, and we're also keen to speak to as many of them as possible. If you are the person in either image, or you know them, please help us by getting in touch."

Anyone with any information is asked to call 101.
