POLICE have raided a house in Newcastle Emlyn and found an alleged drugs supply.

Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police executed a warrant on the property in the town yesterday (Tuesday October 10) as part of the force’s ‘day of action’ focusing on tackling the crimes that impact on vulnerable people within communities.

It is alleged that police found 12 cannabis plants being grown in a bedroom, while a search of the rest of the house turned up what is believed to be a small amount of heroin, several dozen unidentified tablets, magic mushrooms and herbal cannabis.

The investigation is on-going.
