Championship:

Narberth v Trebanos

Having led 14-0, last week's 17-17 draw at Bedlinog would have frustrated The Otters.

Especially given today's fixture, at home to a Trebanos side second in the table following last week's impressive 34-10 win at Cardiff Met.

But The Otters are unbeaten at home, and like throughout this season, have not been afraid to make changes from their previous game.

Scrum half Lewys Gibby, flankers Pat Roberts and Sean Jenkins, centre Jo Hutchings, and prop Bradley Davies all come into the starting XV.

Narberth: James Stephenson, Liam Hutchings, Jo Hutchings, Jack Price, Kieran Jones, Jonathan Rogers, Lewys Gibby, Bradley Davies, Dan Smith, Tom Slater, Jake Simm, Alex Jenkins (captain), Pat Roberts, Sean Jenkins, Rich Rees.

Replacements: Ollie Evans, Rhodri Owens, Tom Powell, Ianto Griffiths, Paul Davies.

Division One West:

Kidwelly v Crymych

A hat trick of tries from winger Lawrence Headlam helped Crymych cruise in the National Plate at Llanybydder last week, but it is back to serious business today.

The Preseli Men are yet to register a league point in this campaign, and go to Kidwelly, who themselves have won just once in five games.

Crymych were furious two weeks ago when their clash with Llanelli Wanderers was postponed late in the day, and must use that frustration to kick start their league season here.

Tenby United v Felinfoel

Speaking of the Wanderers, The Seasiders made changes for their Plate game against them on Saturday, and were subsequently beaten as a result.

The week beforehand, with Ashley Sutton again instrumental at outside half, they had bounced back to form with a 33-7 home win over Aberystwyth - and will need to be at full strength again today against a Felinfoel side second with four wins from four.

Both of Tenby's league wins have come at Heywood Lane, and a third one here will help them keep touch with the top four.

Division Two West:

Fishguard v Tumble

Last week's 26-22 Bowl defeat against Division One side Penclawdd represented Fishguard's best display of the season, and should give them a platform for this vital home game today.

Tumble are yet to win in the league, but had their own morale boost in the Bowl by winning at St Clears.

Regardless, The Seagulls know nothing less than a victory will do here.

They are without skipper Gavin Walsh, whilst Chrish Shousha moves back into the pack after a spell in the centre.

Kial Keane returns at 10, with Alun George switching to scrum half.

Fishguard: Edward Bendall, Matthew George, Thomas George, Gareth Adamson, James Reynolds, Kial Keane, Alun George, Ryan McVeigh, Liam Wilkes, Andrew Morrilo (captain), Richard Hunter, Gwil Evans, Jordan James, Chris Shousha, Mark George.

Replacements: Jason Davies, Simon James, Ryan Langman, Andrew Williams, Scott Candler.

St Clears v Loughor

Losing in the National Plate last week would not have overly concerned St Clears - but losing at home to a side bottom of their division (Tumble) would have.

The Carmarthenshire Saints have one win, and six points, from their four games, and must pick teams off on their own patch if they are to consolidate in Division Two this season.

They host a Loughor side fifth in the table after a decent start, and The Saints must dig deep and find the form that saw them put away Pontyberem earlier in the season.

Whitland v Yr Hendy

The clash of the day in Division Two, as leaders Yr Hendy visit the second placed Borderers.

Both are played four, won four, but this will be Whitland's first game for three weeks due to the wedding of Nico Setaro and their National Plate walkover.

That day, they smashed Llanybydder 96-0, but the biggest test yet of their title credentials comes today.

Division Three West A:

Aberaeron v Milford Haven

Milford have now not played since September 23rd, and that cracking win over Pembroke at The Obs.

But they can't afford to be ring-rusty for a difficult trip to Aberaeron.

The home side have been a real force up front this far, and dug deep to win in heavy conditions at Neyland two weeks ago.

If The Mariners are to sustain a title challenge, these are the sort of the games they will need to grind out, and the experience of the likes of skipper Adam Rees and Mark Wonnacott in the pack could be vital for them today.

Cardigan v Laugharne

The Teifisiders may be unbeaten in the league - but make no mistake, last week's National Bowl loss to Crymych 2nds would have hurt them badly.

Colin Davies and coaches now have to pick their side up, and whilst that won't be easy, they can ill afford a hangover in a league that is shaping up to be tight at the top. Incidentally, Davies himself returns to the XV with the whole back row changed from last week.

Laugharne's main problem has been inactivity. They have played just three times in the league, and through no fault of their own, have bee given two walkovers in the National Bowl.

When that happens it is tough to find momentum, but they are a capable side and will cause Cardigan problems.

Cardigan: Llyr Jones, Ben Rogers, Siôn Hughes, Emyr Harries (captain), Tomos Jones, Dion James, Owain Rees, Scott Payne, Luke Palmer-Davies, Ben Hughes, Sion Phillips, Rob Connolly, Llyr Griffiths, Jamie Morgan, Colin Davies.

Replacements: Richard Jones, Daniel Evans, Dean Harries, Tom Taylor, Russ Hasler.

Llangwm v Neyland

Another team reeling from last week's Bowl will be Llangwm, albeit for different reasons.

The Wasps have often struggled in recent years, but rarely do they not fulfil a fixture, and I know how much it would have grated on Richard Scriven and co not to be able to travel to Laugharne.

So the players owe the club a performance here, against a Neyland team who dug deep in their own Bowl game against Cefeneithin, but were made to pay for a slow start.

But Steve Martin's men will be fired up as they eye a first league win of the campaign, and after a near miss against Aberaeron, will see this as a real chance to get their season properly up and running.

Pembroke Dock Quins v Haverfordwest

The Blues have managed just two league games thus far, winning both, and face a tricky trip to Bierspool here.

Ben Skudder's good form has continued, and the return of Matthew Davies has inevitably added pace and zip to their backline.

But The Quins have talented backs themselves, and the likes of Jake Griffiths, Thomas Doyle, and Josh Norman are more than capable of threatening The Blues if given the time and space.

However, Ossie Boswell's side will need parity up front to have a chance, and unlike when they played rivals Pembroke, will have to keep their intensity up for the full 80 minutes.

Tregaron v St Davids

Both sides have won just once in the league - although on paper, the location of the game tips the scales in Tregaron's favour.

The Saints were badly beaten in Mid Wales last season, but had far more of the play in their game against Pembroke Dock Harlequins last time out than the final 29-10 score suggested.

They will have to have a full side, and make better use of possession, to notch a win on the road this afternoon.
