PUPILS from Golden Grove School’s Class 4/SW travelled back in time recently when they visited Carew Castle.
Donning a different type of uniform they were ‘set to work,’ keeping Sir Rhys fed and clothed in his well-maintained castle.
Sir Rhys kindly allowed his workers to take some time out to play games and indulge in some dancing.
Golden Grove School also recently hosted the Pembroke family of schools' cross-country event.
A large crowd of supporters attended the event and enjoyed the very strong competition. Golden Grove retained the shield.
Head Teacher Andy Williams said: “It was pleasing to see so many pupils from local schools competing on a testing course.”
