A VITAL Pembrokeshire charity has moved to a new building and been given a new lease of life in a milestone anniversary year.

Paul Sartori, Pembrokeshire’s only Hospice at Home Service, has moved to new premises to Winch Lane, Haverfordwest behind the Leisure Centre on St Thomas’ Green from its old base at Haven Road.

The charity has also unveiled a new logo, and a new website will be launched at the forthcoming AGM – all during the 35th anniversary since the charity was founded.

Judith Williams, Funding and Projects Coordinator at Paul Sartori said: “The Wolfson Foundation have been the major funder offering an award of £90,000 towards the cost of refurbishing the new head office.

“The Garfield Weston Foundation gave £25,000 towards the costs relating to the relocation.

“And locally, we have been supported by the Port of Milford Haven, as their chosen charity of the year, and their ongoing donations have contributed towards reception, among other items.”

Sandra Dade, Charity Manager at Paul Sartori was keen to assure local supporters that money has not been taken from charity funds to pay for the investment.

During April, Paul Sartori held a special service to celebrate the origins of the foundation and its namesake Father Paul Sartori.

The new website will be officially launched at the AGM at Paul Sartori House, Winch Lane, Haverfordwest on Wednesday, November 29 at 6pm, with a tour of the new facilities on offer at 5pm.
