A MAN has been taken to hospital following a collision near Arnold's Hill, on the A40 between Haverfordwest and Narberth.
The three-car crash took place at around 2.30pm today (Thursday).
The male driver of one of the cars suffered injuries, and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police and fire crews were called to direct traffic, and right the vehicles involved prior to recovery.
A police spokesman said the road re-opened at 3.30pm, but one driver told the Western Telegraph he had barely moved in the last hour.
Traffic between Haverfordwest and Canaston Bridge continues to move slowly as a result of the road having been partially blocked.
Pembrokeshire County Council has now asked drivers to take an alternate route if possible.
Please be aware of long delays outside Haverfordwest on the A40 road to Carmarthen due to a road traffic accident a short time ago. Advice is to avoid the area if possible.

"The incident is ongoing."
