Miss O Thomas

Formerly of St Brides and Marloes

OLWEN Thomas formerly of St Brides and Marloes passed away peacefully in Withybush Hospital on November 17.

She was 92 years of age.

She was the youngest of three sisters Alice (deceased), and Ruby (deceased).

She grew up in Pearson cottages and went to Marloes School.

In her younger days she worked at the Castle and Mariners Hotels, before settling in her own home in Haverfordwest where she lived for over 50 years. She had various employment opportunities around Haverfordwest and fondly talked of her time at the Clinic from where she retired.

The funeral service was held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium. The officiating minister was Rev Gareth Edwards and the funeral arrangement by Roy Folland and Son of Haverfordwest.

There were family flowers only with donations to the Withybush League of Friends.

All her family and friends are deeply saddened by her passing and she will be deeply missed.

Family left to mourn are Raymond Johns and Edna (nephew and partner);Yvonne Williams (niece); Robert Edmonds (nephew); and Andrew (great nephew), who assisted as one of the bearers, and the many extended relatives, too numerous to name.

Llangwm

DAVID Barry Jones of Main Street, Llangwm passed away peacefully at his home on November 7 aged 76 after a long illness.

He was a well known Llangwm sportsman.

The funeral was held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth on November 24 and it was officiated by Jonathon Llewellyn.

Close family are left to mourn.

The bearers were Graham and David Richards (cousins), Trevor Thomas, Willie Morris and Terry John (friends) and Jodie Morgan (partners granddaughter).

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Roy Folland and Son of Haverfordwest.
