FOLLOWING its seat-gripping programme last year, Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra is returning to Folly Farm with another programme of movie classics.

The programme will feature well-known themes from some of Hollywood’s greatest films, including: Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, Psycho, ET and an extended selection from Star Wars celebrating the latest Star Wars spectacular.

The CPO premiered the programme at a pre-Christmas concert in the St David’s Hall, Cardiff receiving a rapturous response from a sell-out audience: “The Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra blessed the audience at St. David’s Hall with another Night at the Movies - a performance of pure magic from the silver screen”.

The audience at Folly Farm can be guaranteed a similar experience.

This year’s event will be held on March 24 in the Follies Theatre, Folly Farm, commencing at 7pm.

The programme will once again be introduced and conducted by Michael Bell.

The concert is organised by the Rotary Club of Pembroke in association with Folly Farm who have generously donated the venue.

Profits from the concert are supporting the Pembrokeshire Friends of Prostate Cymru and Rotary charitable causes.

The club would like to thank all the local businesses whose generous support has made this event possible.

Tickets cost £15 and are available from Pembroke Rotary Club: online at www.pembrokerotary.org.uk or by phone on 01646 672.

They are also available from the following outlets: Gavin Lloyd Mortgage Advisors in Pembroke Dock, Dale’s Music in Tenby, Span Arts box office in Narberth, The Creative Cafe in Haverfordwest, and Paul Harries Opticians in Carmarthen.
