Pembrokeshire Lottery have announced some exciting news for 2018.

This year marks the local lottery’s 25th year, so to celebrate there will be two extra Birthday Treat draws every month during 2018.

These are in addition to the usual weekly £2,000 prize, the March, June and September £8,000 Superdraw prizes and the Christmas £10,000 Superdraw in December.

Lottery Manger Abigail Owens said: “In keeping with the ethos of the Pembrokeshire Lottery, we’ve worked with Pembrokeshire businesses to put together a range of wonderful extra prizes.

“There’s everything from shopping vouchers for some of our best loved local stores, to hotel stays and VIP family days out so there’s definitely something for everyone.

“Plus, there’ll be an additional prize every month of a Pembrokeshire Landscape canvas.

“The Pembrokeshire Lottery has grown into one of the UK’s most successful, self-sustainable economic regeneration schemes; to date loaning out almost £5.85million interest free to local businesses and awarding £2.8million in prize money.

“The extra Birthday Treat prizes are by way of a thank you to all our supporters for making this possible.”

January’s Birthday Treat draws were held on Wednesday, January 17, alongside the usual £2,000 prize, won by Mrs E Tayler from Fishguard. The additional lucky winners were Mrs Sheila Davies from Wiston, winning a £250 Health & Wellbeing Package from Milford Haven based Healthaspire. The final prize of a Pembrokeshire Landscape Canvas from Sky Cam Wales went to Mrs Valerie Proctor from Saundersfoot.

February’s Birthday Treat draw will be held on Wednesday, February 14, and the prizes will be a meal for two, with overnight stay at the Giltar Hotel in Tenby and another Landscape canvas of the winner’s choice from either Skycam Wales or Pembrokeshire Photography.
