A DOG that had fallen on cliffs at Angle had a lucky escape thanks to St Govans Volunteer Coastal Rescue Team.
The team was called out at 10.27am on February 19.
On arriving the dog, called ‘Snoop,’ was soon located and was found stuck midway against the cliffs on West Angle.
With the assistance of volunteers from the Broad Haven Coastal Rescue Team, a full technical recovery was undertaken.
Gareth Jones, station officer for St Govans, said: "Once we had located the dog it was a simple recovery due to us having the appropriate equipment and training. It is always a good day at work when you get a result like we did this time."
‘Snoop’ is now back in the care of his family and will no doubt be just as keen on his walk tomorrow.
