PEMBROKESHIRE hardship charity PATCH has had a plentiful present of pants, thanks to Haverfordwest’s Cleddau Lodge. Lodge members recently donated 200 new pairs of men's underpants and several bags of men's clothes to PATCH in Haverfordwest.
This all came about when Worshipful Brother John Wilkinson's wife asked him to donate some clothes to PATCH, as the charity struggles to get donations of men's and boys’ clothes.
It was when she said "and some of your old pants" that John felt that, no matter how difficult times get for anyone, no-one should have to wear second-hand underwear.
He made a charitable request to the brethren of Cleddau Lodge and they unanimously agreed.
They also donated several bags of their clothes to the charity.
They were gratefully received by Carol Clayton on behalf of PATCH.
