THERE is an opportunity to see world-renowned harpist Glenda Clwyd at Yr Hen Ysgol Dinas, this Friday, March 23.

Glenda Clwyd has been acknowledged as one of the finest and most important harpists to come out of Wales.

Her mastery of the harp, coupled with her natural talent and flair both as a virtuoso performer and a composer have defined a successful musical career across the globe, spanning nearly three decades.

Known for her versatile performance style,her beautiful arrangements and renditions of music include upbeat jazz, blues, showstoppers, classics and the latest hits as well as more formal and relaxing selections of famous classical and Welsh pieces.

Glenda is a natural entertainer and performer and regularly delights and amazes her audiences by being able to play requests from memory, from her vast repertoire.

Glenda will be joined by local children from Ysgol Bro Ingli, who will be performing the pieces they are currently practicing for the Urdd eisteddfod.

Tickets cost only £5 and can be bought from Kiel House, Dinas Garage or at the door. Light refreshments will be available.
