PLAYTIMES are great times in Ysgol Wdig since the school installed a new timber trail in the junior playground.
The playground previously had no fixed play equipment, so the school's Ffrindiau group started to fundraise for this last year.
Thanks to member Shani Jackson and the kind votes of local people, they secured the top £4,000 in the Tesco Bags of Help awards.
They were given a further £700 by Fishguard and Goodwick town council and £100 from Fishguard and Goodwick Lions.
The rest of the money has been raised, wit the support if parents, at Ffrindiau events such as Christmas and Easter Bingos, Halloween disco and the Summer Fair.
"Thanks to everyone who has helped us raise money for this great piece of play equipment which the children are enjoying enormously," said a Ffrindiau spokesman.
