NARBERTH has been singing its socks off for ten glorious years and Span Arts will be celebrating with a fabulous a capella festival next month.

The 10th Anniversary Narberth A Capella Voice Festival, Wales' only festival of unaccompanied singing, runs from Friday, May 4 until Sunday, May 6.

This year's festival, organised by Span Arts, promises to be an unforgettable and unparalleled weekend that exhibits the extraordinary diversity of singing without instruments.

The three-day festival has seen great headliners over the years and this year is no exception with a diverse range of artists and styles making an appearance. As ever, the festival features a range of exciting workshops offering fun for all ages and abilities.

This year's impressive line-up features performances from the award-winning London Bulgarian choir, the acclaimed Bristol Suspensions, the breathtaking Portsmouth Gospel Choir, one of UK's best beatboxers; Mide Naike and many more.

Throughout the festival, an exceptional variety of workshops will be delivered by the hugely respected contemporary folk singer and songwriter; Julie Murphy, one of the world's foremost authorities on improvisation; Rob Paton, the enchanting and experienced community musician; Maya Waldman, phenomenal singer and songwriter; Laura Bradshaw and many more.

Côr Pawb (Everyone's Choir) also returns on the Sunday with a heart-warming performance, tasty tea party and film premiere. This delightful event will showcase the powerful community voices here in West Wales, and leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

This unique intergenerational tea party will bring together around 150 singers, ranging in age from seven to 70, from community groups, local schools and community choirs across the region.

The choir will be singing songs from around the world in an uplifting mix of three and four-part harmonies, all served up with a delicious slice of cake or two.

Workshops cost £10/£12.Performances: £18/£16 in advance, £20/18 on the door. Weekend Tickets are also available for : £70/65 (full/members and concessions).

The Box Office will close at 12.00. noon on Friday, May 4. Advanced bookings can be collected from Queen's Hall Box Office during the weekend. All other tickets for NAVF concerts and workshops can also be purchased there.
