A police toilet was damaged when it became the target of a Haverfordwest man’s frustrations, a court has heard.
Daniel Lee Redford, of Hywel Road, pleaded guilty to criminal damage when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, April 24.
The court heard that police officers saw the 25 year-old kicking the panel of a toilet while he was being held in the custody suite of Haverfordwest police station on April 5.
Mark Layton, defending, said: “He felt somewhat frustrated about the circumstances of his arrest, and took it out on the toilet.”
Magistrates fined Redford £80 and ordered him to pay £25 compensation for the damaged toilet, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
