The organisation which runs public toilets for Pembrokeshire County Council, Danfo, has installed contactless card readers at the nine charged-for public toilets in Pembrokeshire.
With fewer people carrying cash, the move aims to improve convenience for members of the public making it quick and easy to pay when you need to spend a penny.
The move also deters criminals from vandalising the public toilets and will reduce theft, the council said.
The price to use the loos remains at 20p.
