St Davids coastguards assisted a diver with decompression illness this afternoon, Sunday.
The team were called to Porth Clais at 5.34pm, where a diver had surfaced suffering from symptoms of the illness.
A doctor treated the casualty at the scene before he was transferred by helicopter for further treatment by paramedics who also attended.
