The jury in the trial of former Pembroke mayor David Boswell at Swansea crown court has this afternoon (Thursday) retired to decide its verdicts.
Boswell, aged 57, of Bush Street, Pembroke Dock, is accused of seven offences of indecent assault and one of rape against two young girls.
The charges relate to incidents said to have taken place several decades ago.
He denies all the charges.
UPDATE: 4.35pm:
The jury has been sent home for the night without, so far, returning any verdicts.
Deliberations will continue tomorrow.
