A TAXI driver from Saundersfoot is to stand trial accused of driving his car into a passenger train.
Brian Mazey, aged 45, appeared at Swansea crown court today (Friday) for a plea and trial preparation trial.
Mazey, of Cwm Gwennol, denied dangerous driving on April 30 last year.
Tom Scapens, prosecuting, said the allegation was that the train driver stopped and sounded a horn before continuing across the Beavers Hill crossing in Manorbier.
Mazey's Vauxhall hit the second carriage, he said.
The court heard that witnesses at his trial would include several train passengers who saw the collision.
Mazey will stand trial on September 5 and was granted bail until then.
