THE Western Telegraph is proud to announce it will be championing the heroes of health care in Pembrokeshire this year.

The newspaper that fights for Pembrokeshire wants to showcase the talents of people working in health and care in the county, and has launched the Western Telegraph Health and Care Awards 2018.

The awards will give the great Pembrokeshire public the opportunity to nominate members of the health professions who have transformed their lives or who go above and beyond their duties to help make our lives better.

Hussain Bayoomi, MD of the Western Telegraph.

Hussain Bayoomi, managing director of the Western Telegraph, said of the 2018 Awards: “I am delighted to launch the first ever Western Telegraph Health And Care Awards.

“We are looking forward to some outstanding entries from across the area, as we recognise individuals and teams from across the whole health spectrum.

“We hope to have nominations from the general public, public and private organisations and health sector professionals.”

Western Telegraph editor Steve Adams added: “The people who work in our health services are the super-heroes of real life - they go above and beyond, saving lives and caring for us when we need help most.
