POLICE in Pembroke had an unusual mercy mission on Thursday, rescuing a sheep loose in the road.
After police ‘herd’ about the woolly wanderer, PC ‘Bo Peep’ Thomas was dispatched to reunite the sheep with its owner.
Posting on Twitter, on July 12, Pembroke Dock police ‘bleated’ that the baaaa-d black sheep was back with the flock: “All in a day's work for PC 213 Thomas- a sheep had escaped and was running in and out of the road in Pembroke!
“Has now been returned safe and sound.”
