A LARGE crowd attended the Sea Sunday Service of Commemoration and Remembrance at Goodwick Parrog on Sunday, July 8.

Members of the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets and Goodwick Sea Scouts along with British Legion members attended the service of commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the ending of the First World War and Thanksgiving for the formation of the Royal Airforce.

The Service was conducted by Rev Jennie Annis and Jonathon Parker. Goodwick Community Band, conducted by Alison Evans, played a medley of music before and during the service which was much appreciated both by service attendees and the dozens of families enjoying the sunshine on nearby Goodwick Beach.

There was a very poignant moment during the service when a lone RAF Aircraft flew over the Parrog.

The Royal British Legion would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
