PEMBROKE'S annual river rally took place today, after a slight technical hitch.
The ceremony, which sees the historic town's Castle Pond awash with colourful vessels, got off to a late start.
The rally was delayed for 45 minutes when the barrage gate got stuck, leaving the flotilla of boats to wait outside.
Once inside, Mayor of Pembroke Linda Brown, local councillors and their consorts enjoyed an afternoon of fun and festivities, with stalls and more.
The rally is organised by the West Wales Maritime Heritage Society.
