COULD you give a new home to a hen which needs a fresh start?
Haverfordwest Fresh Start for Hens is looking for homes which are able to rehome free range hens.
If you think you could give a brood of hens a forever home on your backyard lawn, you can apply to take part in an adoption day on Saturday, September 8.
Send an email to reservations@freshstartforhens.co.uk and include your name, address, phone numbers, and the number of hens required.
You should also include a photo of your coop, run and free range area in the email.
The organisation asks for a donation of £2.50 per hen prior to visiting, which can be made via its website: fsfh.org.uk
The address to visit for the open day is given out after you have made a reservation and donated to Fresh Start for Hens.
