RECENT crime figures in Pembroke Dock have seen a decrease month-on-month, but Pembroke and the surrounding area have seen an increase, the latest figures from Dyfed-Powys Police have revealed.

Crime figures reported in Pembroke Dock decreased month-on-month, from 126 in May, to 104 in June while the Pembroke area increased from 83 in May to 96 in June.

Pembroke Dock saw incidents of antisocial behaviour decreased month-on-month from 60-50, while Pembroke increased from 30-38.

Offences recorded in Pembroke in June included two bicycle theft, up from one the month before; one burglaries, down from four; 11 criminal damage and arson, up from six; three drugs, up from two; two other theft, down from six; one other crime, up from zero; zero robberies, down from two; one vehicle crime; and 32 violence and sexual offences, up from 29.

The Pembroke dock area saw 50 anti-social behaviour offences, down from 60; two burglary offences, down from five; 12 criminal damage and arson, up from 11; three drugs, six other crimes; five other theft, down from six; and 17 violence and sexual offences, down from 29.

The trend over 2017 and 2018, based on the latest figures, shows Pembroke Dock crime figures at 112 in October 2017, 110 In November, 103 December, 140 in January 2018, 95 in February, 125 in March, 118 in April, 126 in May and 104 in June.

Pembroke and the surrounding area saw recorded figures of 96 in October 2017, 78 in November, 53 in December, 69 in January 2018, 83 in February, 94 in March, 93 in April, 83 in May and 96 in June.
