SAUNDERSFOOT'S green-fingered residents and businesses have been handed bouquets for their gardening successes.

The village is bidding for honours in the Wales in Bloom contest, and while it awaits results, the busy Saundersfoot in Bloom organisation has presented the prizes in its annual garden competition.

The presentation took place on Wednesday at the St Brides Spa Hotel, Saundersfoot, whose owners, Andrew and Lindsey Evans, are always supportive of the event.

The prizes were presented by the chairman of Saundersfoot Community Council, Councillor Martyn Williams.

Saundersfoot in Bloom chairman, Keith Williams, thanked everyone who took part in the competition, and the community council for watering the tubs and troughs in the village.
