A WOMAN who died at the University of Wales Hospital on Monday, after an alleged assault at an address in Bagley Court, Thornhill in Cwmbran on Friday has been named.
Police have confirmed that the woman was Gemma Louise Jones, 23, but her address has not yet been confirmed.
A 24 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, but has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
