Oakwood theme park near Canaston Bridge is the subject of a takeover bid from a mystery suitor.
A statement made to the Western Telegraph said: "An offer has been made to buy Oakwood and is being considered by management".
Although the company involved has not been identified there has been speculation that it could be Leisure Parcs, a major tourism industry player which owns Blackpool Tower.
Oakwood opened in 1987 and employs almost 400 staff at peak times of the year.
