Youth denies Pembroke Green murder

A youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has appeared before Swansea Crown Court today charged with the murder of Paul Grenville Roberts.

The court heard how the 41-year-old, from Pembroke, known as Smurf, fell backwards and hit head and concrete after the youth allegedly hit him.

The incident took place at The Green in Pembroke on August 12th and Mr Grenville died five days later in hospital.

The youth, also from Pembroke, denies murder and an alternative charge of manslaughter.

A second youth from Pennar denies manslaughter.
