If you would like to see just what a great job the Dibble are doing concerning vandalism/criminal damage (NOT!) - take a look at my Vauxhall Omega Estate which is parked in Bush Street, between Meyrick Street and Park Street ----> it's got a collection of about SEVEN deep scratches, of which SIX have crime numbers, apart from the scratch near the front badge which PC Geraint Craig REFUSED to crime (I'd put in a complaint if that happened now!). Plus, as of Saturday night, referred to in the article, the drivers wing mirror is hanging off too!

I totall agree with kitchen store...my car was was damaged in the summer and it took our wonderful police two weeks to come and have a look at it ! they are just not interested in it. So much for the cries to stamp out anti social behaviour when the police cant be bothered to do anything about it. The snooker table in the police station must be worn out by now!

Been here before, i actually sat in my bay window for hours years ago, waiting for the pissheads to come stumbling down the road. I wanted to see if the damage to my car (Often 2/3 others also in the street were accidents),Few groups passed, but then one scrote passed and decided to punch the mirror off my car......... so i ran downstairs to challenge the toerag, the lad was about 19, and thought himself a hardman, started to threaten to kill me and all the other bullshite that goes with drink. Then lunges at me, but i was quick enough to lay two fists straight into his chest, and he fell back onto the pavement, My Wife was already on the phone to the police and i made a citizens arrest in the street in front of a few lads who were on their way back from the pub (Who were quite decent guys). When the Police arrived they arrested the said scrote, but then threatened to arrest me !!!!! because i had raised my hands above my waist ?????, if it hadn't been for the fact the scrote decided to threaten to kill the police officers, i would have been accompanying him to the Cells . The next day i was inteviewed, and warned not to repeat my actions again as i wouldn't get a second chance. Did the lad get done for my car ???? NO !!! But he did get a visit.........from a local man who was good enough to take on security of vehicles in my street, plus placing signs in the windows of the Firm. Never had problems after that.
Some of the Police Officers will go out their way to help, others have hands tied, but im afraid we are seeing more and more self important little hitlers in our local Police Force which wittle out the really good old fashioned Police officers...... And i place the Officers who run the policing teams in Pembroke Dock and Pembroke in that catagorey.

It sounds as if i place the Pembroke Dock and Pembroke Leaders in the Hitler bracket ??, far from the case, i means they are the Old Fashioned Police Officers with common sense.

Walter, you were lucky you didn't get arrested mate, people like you are easy targets for today's Police and they would have had an easy 'detection' to go with their 'arrest', plus DNA etc. etc.
I recall a few years ago my wife's car had both wing mirrors broken off in Park Street, the two coppers that eventually turned up said "we're taking the softly softly approach", which meant they sat in their car while the yobbo and his three mates trashed another four wing mirrors until another couple of coppers arrived!
Old Fashioned Coppers, they're dinosaurs, no place for them in the modern Police 'service'!

Hmmm. I can only repeat what I was told c. 6 weeks ago. A person of my acquaintance was doing some community organising with Milford Haven PCSO's and this took him into Milford Haven nick, where there were some NINE coppers sitting around doing nothing in particular! Waiting for their cars to be refuelled perhaps?
