Want to blow away the cobwebs at the start of 2008? Sea Trust's New Year's Day dolphin watch is a sure way to see in the new year with a difference.

Dolphin watchers will gather at Strumble Head's lookout shelter at 2pm on January 1st and the watch will last about one and a half hours. Sea Trust volunteers will give presentations about the marine wildlife both in Pembrokeshire and Strumble Head.

"It is an excellent way to get rid of your hangover," said Sea Trust's Cliff Benson. "Bring warm drinks, binoculars and wrap up warm.

"Last year around 20 people came. We spotted rare risso's dolphins, fin whales, porpoises, bottle nose and common dolphins.

"In November killer whales were spotted off Strumble Head, so you never know what we might see."
